Our Mission
To promote and develop Wheelchair Pickleball across India under the guidance and control of its parent body, the Para Pickleball Federation of India (PPFI), by creating inclusive opportunities for persons with disabilities through participation, competition, coaching, education, and excellence, while empowering athletes to achieve success at the national and international levels.
Registration
The Wheelchair Pickleball Federation of India (WPFI) is a legally registered non-profit organization. The Federation is registered under the relevant laws of India and has been granted 12A and 80G registration by the Income Tax Department, Government of India, enabling tax-compliant operations and eligible tax benefits for donors in accordance with applicable laws. WPFI is also registered on the NGO DARPAN Portal of NITI Aayog, reflecting its commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance.
Affiliations
The Wheelchair Pickleball Federation of India (WPFI) is an affiliated member of the Para Pickleball Federation of India (PPFI), the National Governing Body for Para Pickleball in India. WPFI is also an affiliated member of the International Para Pickleball Association (IPPA), the World Governing Body for Para Pickleball. Through these affiliations, WPFI is committed to implementing internationally recognized rules, athlete classification systems, competition standards, and ranking regulations while promoting the growth and development of Wheelchair Pickleball across India.
